I came upon this photoshoot that Emily Blunt did for Vanity Fair. And I absolutely loved it! I adore the entire Victorian look. It makes me dream away.....The photoshoot is inspired by her new movie, The Young Victoria. It is a British costume drama film based on the young life of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom.Have a look at the amazing trailer here. I also wanted to share a poem with you by Elizabeth Barrett Browning who was considered as one of the most important poets of the Victorian era. How Do I Love Thee? How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth, and breadth, and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of being and ideal grace. I love thee to the level of every day's Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight. I love thee freely, as men strive for right: I love thee purely, as they turn from praise. I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life - and if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.
It's a beautiful day!
The sun is shining against my window while a small breeze dances outside my room.
It's a day filled with pretty things, I can feel it.
I smell cinnamon and vanilla.
I taste lemon with honey tea.
I see ballet shoes on the floor and a white little dress hanging against my closet.
And in the background I hear morning lullabies.
It's gonna be a beautiful day with every minute an unexpected little surprise!
Yesterday I woke up With your head on my arm
My hand was numb Circulation gone
But I dared not move the pretty sleeping one
The sun had painted Patterns on your face
As you breathed Sunday air
You rolled onto My open arm
I became your pillow; you let me smooth your hair
I will sing you morning lullabies
You are beautiful and peaceful this way
I know you have to close your eyes on everyone
Let me help you, I'll sing you to sleep With morning lullabies
Let me lie in the curl Of your body tonight
And I will hear you tumble into sleep
I will watch you heal, I'll watch you heal with me
I will sing you morning lullabies
You are beautiful and peaceful this way
I know you have to close your eyes on everyone
Let me help you, sing you sleep With morning lullabies
I know you have to close Your eyes on everyone
Let me help you I'll sing you to sleep With morning lulla-bye, bye, baby
Close your eyes and I will sing you Morning lullabies
And I will sing you Morning lullabies

*Your smile makes other people happy, which in turn makes you happy.
*When you are strong enough to love yourself 100%, good and bad - you will be amazed at the opportunities that life presents you.
*When one door of happiness closes another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.
*Do not waste yourself in rejection, nor bark against the bad, but chant the beauty of the good.
*Life is to be lived, not controlled, and humanity is won by continuing to play in face of certain defeat.
*Love is always bestowed as a gift - freely, willingly and without expectation. We don't love to be loved; we love to love.
*Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.
*If laughter is contagious, then let's create a happiness epidemic.
*You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.
*The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time.
