Well, it's almost 2007. I wonder what the new year will bring me. I checked my horoscope and it's quite positive. The first sentences read:
This year you will get exactly what you've been made for. Love and friendship with an enormous intensity that makes it possible for you to experience an emotional rebirth.
The stars must be having great fun up there messing with my head. Sometimes I wish they could also mess with my memory a little. Just enough to make me forget about certain people and certain feelings that have ruled my being for way too long. The past cannot be changed. The past cannot be erased nor forgotten. It's just there and we( I ) have to learn to accept it. I think that it is always important to remember what you have and be grateful for it. And closing the chapter of 2006 and opening the chapter of 2007 makes me realize even more what I have to be thankful for.
Looking at the news, seeing all the horrible things that are going on: I am thankful that I still have my mother, father and brother with me. I am thankful that I have the opportunity to go to school and educate myself. I am thankful for the fact that I always have water, food and clothes. I am thankful that I am lucky enough to be in the position where I can realize how lucky I really am. I am thankful for the Lord and his blessings and all that he may bring me in 2007.
